Growing up in a wealthy town in MA most of my friends parents including my own were in their 40s 50s and beyond. Newtown is the same deal I presume most wealthier couples tend to put education and career and then children which explains it. Living in a rural area now in VA so many of the parents are in their 20s so it's totally related to the demographics of the area.
