Radiation Watch just wanted to throw this into the mix.... Nellis Air Force Base is the epicenter of a 2.2 Earthquake, very shallow about 3 miles deep. What the hell are they doing there??
Nevada ranks fourth, with the second major air force storage site at Nellis AFB. Nellis too has been a nuclear storage facility for more than 40 years. Known as Lake Mead Base, it first became operational in September 1954 as one of the original six National Stockpile Sites (NSS). [link to virtualglobetrotting.com]
