You can bet she will never be able to pay a tenth of that amount - let's all do the math:

She is 42.  In 1999 she was she was 28.  Her oldest child was 12 at the time which means she was 16 when the first child was born.  One would assume she likely didn't even finish high school and yet they expect her to pay $329,000?

I've never heard of a person having to pay child support while their kids are "wards" of the state.  Are they "wards" or not?  If not, they should have been home with mom.  If the state takes over guardianship, then the state should be the one paying for their care.  I'm confused.
