The Green Park Inn is in the top 15 of most haunted hotels in America. I have experienced things there that led me to believe in hanintings. Also many dorms on campus are haunted as all get out. Even though this is a fairly new hotel, whose to say the mother and son were not "scared" to death. Either someone is killing individuals in this room or something much darker and sinister is taking place at this hotel. [/quote] The Grove Park Inn in Blowing Rock is also very haunted as well. Well , well isn't this interesting. A mother and her son were both overcome by some unknown traumatic event in the Best Western in Boone, NC. The son, an 11 year old, was found dead and the mother is currently in dire straits in the hospital. They were found in the same exact hotel room where an elderly couple were found dead April 16.
What's also weird is a google search for the prior event comes up empty. The current news reports are citing CO as the possible culprit...but I call bullshit. If it were CO , I imagine it would have been caught in the prior event - where an autopsy would certainly have been conducted since TWO people died - and the carboxyhemoglobin levels would easily have pointed to CO poisoning.

In a perhaps unrelated twist, the hotel owner died in January of this year.
