Organizers estimated 25,000 to 30,000 vehicles would pass the protest, which the meetup posting said would start with a 10 a.m. setup.
Traffic around 12:15 p.m. was slowed as far north as Camp Pendleton—but speeds returned to normal immediately after the overpass, Patch was told.
