[quote:Anonymous Coward 41753626:MV8yMjY0MTcwXzM4NDg0MzQ1XzkwMzg4ODc0] [quote:Anonymous Coward 41717357:MV8yMjY0MTcwXzM4NDgwMjc2X0FDQkM3NzZE] Why do governments get us involved in wars that are not our business and probably support the wrong side, against the will of the governed? The warmongering of the US and UK leads me to ask, who profits. The people will lose, maybe their lives, certainly their hard earned money. So who profits and how? They pretend it is for humanitarian purpose, but when they defeat Assad, all of his supporters will suffer and die. There is nothing humanitarian in arming someone and prolonging the war. The most humanitarian thing would be to try to have a distinct winner and stop the violence as soon as possible. So how do our politicians profit by this? They must profit, because there is no other reason to be involved.
Cui bono? Zio-Khazarian Banksters, of course. :damned:
Britain must do more to save lives in Syria, William Hague has said, raising the prospect of joining America's military intervention in the bloody conflict.
The Foreign Secretary said the UK will be "urgently" discussing its response to the crisis with Washington, after agreeing that Syrian president Bashar Al-Assad has been using chemical weapons against his people. Speaking ahead of the G8 summit, Mr Hague said Britain and other countries must "be prepared to do more to save lives" in Syria.
US President Barack Obama has decided America will intervene in the conflict after judging that the Syrian regime has used chemical weapons, crossing a "red line". This could include a "no-fly zone" around some of the country, costing millions of pounds a day. Mr Hague hinted that Britain could follow America's lead, saying that the situation requires a "strong, determined and coordinated response from the international community".
