Some believe he may have been trying to gain approval from his brother -- the only authoritative family figure left in the US since his parents left. 
So my question for society is this: should any of this be taken into account for a lighter sentence such as life? Could we possibly forgive a little and give him a chance to make amends to the victims and society? 
Or are we all still ready to kill him and gain our revenge? [/face]
