Aren't all of the cities and local towns/municipalities going to have to vote as to whether or not they will allow retail/recreational marijuana sales in their jurisdiction? I read that some votes were taking place this summer. What areas of the state are expected to ban or prohibit retail marijuana sales? Any of the larger cities/towns?
they didn't just pass a law that can be revoked every other time we vote ... they CHANGED the Constitution of the State - to decriminalize Marajuana because after they let the mmj clinics in - they realized what a BOOM it brought to the economy the past four years ... and one town after another was making it legal anyway - there really isn't a down side to this story ... the cops have more time to chase down REAL criminals ... and tourism in the Summer is sure to pick up ... so no they don't have to vote on it but they aren't open to MMJ cafe's and they have MJ "drunk driving" tests ready . I read an article on Faux News out of Denver that said that the residents could grow as much as they think they can consume as long as they don't try to sell it ... because they would be breaking tax laws if they did ... they made it really tricky to sell to the clinics - You can't just sell your MJ to a "farmer's market" or on Craig's list (yet) you can't sell to anyone unless you have a contract of sorts with a Clinic I didn't get a "prescription" card this year, and am only growing the six plants that it allowed - but I am growing them all at once this year instead of trying to grow a Winter crop ... I'm still smoking last year's pot haha Tangerine Diesel:afro: here - now that ORGANIC !
Looks like legal sales won't start till January but Colorado has gone ahead and posted their rules for legal recreational sale and use of marijuana in their state.
Pretty big move!
Looks like out of state residents can buy up to a quad @ every visit while in state people can get a nice OZ!
Look to see Colorado's economy take a nice little bump after January.
When will the rest of the country wake up to the Green Revolution!
