Original Message What do you think about this situation:

A man is with his wife. The two of them decide to take golf lessons togethr. The golf pro is a woman. At the first lesson, the man introduces his wife as his "friend."

Man is on the phone, wife is at the table entirely able to listen to conversation. Man refers to something that's actually about his wife, but says, "One of my roommates..." This is withing hearing of the wife.
