Original Message Humans have completly evolved on earth from microbes on up.
This evolution took 5 billions years and humans only appeared during the last million year.
Now I presume it would be unethical for aliens to colonized a planet already inhabited by (presumably) sentient beings.

If for example Mars or Venus could be habitable then for sure humans would be colonizing them right now.

But why haven't the aliens colonized earth for all the billions of years where we weren't around?

Isn't that a logical proof that aliens while they probably exist haven't colonized us because interstellar distances are just too great?
