i've read the verses aboit how she laughed and the  was scared, mind you this was a visit from and his entourage, that is my understanding.

it is "said" or perhaps "written" in the talmud that he loved her so much and i believe was later buried with her, but he sure didn't act like a grieving spouse from what i've read and heard.
