Comet ISON and its connection to the Great Comet of 1680, Ophiuchus, and the Maunder Minimu

Let us start off at some of the similarities between Ison and the Great Comet of 1680. Backslashes placed in between values for clarity. Don't read too much into the data, just shown to reflect similarities.

You can see that all values are extremely close.

This same paper gives the dates for the closest approach to the sun (November 28, 2013) and earth (December 26, 2013)
While Wikipedia gives these dates for the Great Comet
December 18, 1680 for closest approach to sun
November 30, 1680 for closest approach to earth

Interpretation of the data from the paper plus these dates will lead you to believe that Ison is coming from the opposite direction that the Great Comet was in 1680, which makes sense if these are the “same comet.”

" Its (ISON'S) perihelion passage is on Nov 28.8147, 2013 (at around 19:00 UT) when it is estimated to touch a visual magnitude -13.....The comet and the Sun will then be located at the top of the constellation of Scorpio.
Hmmm... Directly above Scorpio is the constellation OPHIUCHUS, the serpent bearer. If the tail of this comet is as magnificent as alleged, we may have a symbolic serpent here. Especially since in 2013 the sun enters Ophiuchus on November 29th, the day after ISONs closest approach to the sun. Oh yeah, the sun leaves Ophiuchus in 2013 on December 18th, the day the Great Comet's closest approach to the sun was in 1680, as shown above. Weird. The full moon in November 2013 is 11 days from the closest approach to the sun, and in December is 9 days from the closest approach to earth. Id love to see the difference in 1680 but cant seem to find moon charts going back that far.

If you take a look at this link showing figures depicting the Maunder Minimum, you will see that the 'height' of this minimum takes place right around 1680. Any Suspicious0bserver fans will know that sunspot numbers are way down, while coronal holes are on the rise. (Is Earth/something else killing sunspots?)Another similarity.
