[quote:Anonymous Coward 1477491:MV8yMzE4NDY1XzM5NTUxOTM0X0ZFMDRFQzI2] "Oh brother. A million x's stronger...really? You are bad a MATH dude! A 15 EQ is only twice as strong as 7.5 on the Richter scale. And again Richter is only something some dude named and claimed how high it may go!? How can someone possibly KNOW the full potential of the earths' quake's...just because we never measured anything that strong doesn't mean that it CAN'T or had NEVER happened before in the history of Earth! We only started measuring these things 100 years ago...maybe?" Doesn't work that way at all...here is an example of how the Richter Scale works: A magnitude 4 earthquake is 10 times stronger than a magnitude 3 earthquake... A magnitude 5 earthquake is 100 times stronger than a magnitude 3 earthquake... A magnitude 6 earthquake is 1000 times stronger than a magnitude 3 earthquake... So... A magnitude 7 earthquake is 10,000 times stronger than a magnitude 3 earthquake! Now can you imagine the potential for a magnitude 15??
My brother lives in seattle for the last 8 years, he has never seen the kind of lightening activity on the night of 9th aug 2013, it was incessantly lightening for 30 mins with very high intensity, he just could not look out for the fear of blinding his eyes, it was not raining either..
Pattie did say in one her recent interviews that unusual lightening will happen in seattle before the bad ass earthquake hits later in the month...hmmmmmm...
