Doesn't make sense.

Shouldn't we love our ego, based on the love your neighbor as yourself teachings?

Even further, are we not suppose to love our neighbors which includes their ego? I don't recall the teaching saying love the spirit part of your neighbor. Why are we to hate our ego but love our neighbors ego?
