[quote:Anonymous Coward 38756104:MV8yMzI4NTM3XzM5NzMyMzQ2XzEwODc3MDk1] [quote:Anonymous Coward 1527598:MV8yMzI4NTM3XzM5NzMwODc3X0VBRjEzNEFB] Indeed there is no more time to waste if you are already living on borrowed time. I would suggest to ignore all atom boy wannabees that means we don't waste any time responding to these clowns and it means less scrolling while reading the thread. Wadda you 2 birds with one stone. I was thinking how the hell are the gonna remove these 1300 fuelrods? Think about it, they can't enter the building because of the high dosis. They have to do this by hand cause the computerized system that was build to do it was destroyed. They can't even prevent tanks from leaking, they can't even stop contaminated water from entering the passific. So how are they gonna remove 1300 fuel rods without being able to enter the area, removing them one by one, without letting them drop. All this with the danger of thypoons, earthquakes, leaking tanks and 3 cores in china syndrome mode. I don't think they can do it.
I used similar reasoning as yours to come up with the idea that moving the fuel rods is a complete fraud imho. IMHO, TEPCO will pretend to move the fuel rods and bask in the glory of fake greatness while they report success after success.... But it will all be fake. Nothing will be moved. The other shoe will drop when building four collapses sometime in the next 10 years and the reaction will be... CRAP, they lied to us again, DAMN! People are really stupid, trusting TEPCO is just like trusting Bush or Obama...
"It is much worse than we have been led to believe, much worse," said Mr Schneider, who is lead author for the World Nuclear Industry status reports.
At news conference, the head of Japan's nuclear regulation authority Shunichi Tanaka appeared to give credence to Mr Schneider's concerns, saying that he feared there would be further leaks.
``We should assume that what has happened once could happen again, and prepare for more. We are in a situation where there is no time to waste," he told reporters.
