It's clear that there is something going on there.
At first, Putin tells Snowden no asylum. Get out.
Then Putin agrees to let him stay, but Snowden must stop leaking documents and he "has been warned against harming the Russian-American relationship."
Now that the situation in the ME has escalated exponentially, Putin is allowing Snowden to release the information that he has (seemingly on a strategic basis), and Obama is thankfully having second thoughts on striking Syria.
Let's open the dialogue. What information does Putin now know, that the American people don't yet?
Then add in the Saudi threat to activate the Chechens in Syria, and terrorist attacks during the Olympics.
I'm not trying to say that I have the answer, but there is much more going on here.
Please discuss.
