When we become awake to the inner workings of our reality many of us perceive a sort of struggle for our minds. We gaze upon a plane of reality which is home to a battle between forces of light and darkness...forces of intelligence and spirituality...forces of slavery and freedom. We become exposed to the vast inner workings of the universal consciousness and its will to impose its facets or "aspects" on all who perceive it. This can seem like we are dealing with every great force, every god, every entity which the universe has ever known. We begin to feel as though we are being tested by those who shaped reality. We are led down a path and must come face to face with every ideology, every vantage point that has cut a swath through consciousness. It can begin to seem that we are battling for our very minds. It can begin to seem that if we choose to side with any single "faction," that we will become a slave to it and that our individuality will be erased. It can seem like an eternal and ever expanding chess match in which our lives and our perceptions are at stake. The "quantum personalities" or "aspects" of the gods begin to question us as if to ask, "Can you stand to reason as well as we once did?" The nature of reality itself becomes uncertain and we if we are not careful, we can lose our solid ground and fall permanently into the abyss. We come to this place and roll the dice and if our minds are strong enough, we engage in a philosophical battle with the universe itself. All can be used against us here. Every decision we made, every action we took (and will take), every thought we have had can come back to haunt us. Every person we encounter seems to know something about what we have done in the days past and what we will do in days to come. It can be great and terrible. But it can also be exhilarating. It can be like proving our mettle to the entire, unfathomable existence of everything. It is the game.
