The current political and economic situation isn't actually like it was during WW1 and WW2, nor during the depression. We're a globalized society. Almost every country depends on each other, in fact the ones that don't are the ones we pick on to fight.
Hell, the reason why the US, UN or EU doesn't intervene in China or Russia over human rights violations is because they don't dare break up the economic symbiosis.
If we go to war with any country that is part of the globalized society we risk financial ruin in our own country. We won't do that, even if our banker-masters tell us to, and neither will the other countries we're in symbiosis with.
The only real threat to the US at this point are actual terrorists. Not freedom loving Americans but jihad loving psychopathic radical fundamentalists that might smuggle dirty nukes to the four corners of the US and set them off. Even then, the chances are slim.
So no matter how stupid Obama is, no matter how many dipshit moves he makes against other countries for his masters, no matter how much he eggs on other countries for them to try to bring on WWIII, the other countries are too smart to fall for it and they're going to back off unless directly attacked.
