[quote:Anonymous Coward 41864789:MV8yMzQ2MDE3XzQwMDU4MzE1XzU0QjczNTBC] [quote:Daughter:MV8yMzQ2MDE3XzQwMDU4MjU5XzM4QUZENjEz] Yes there was black pharaohs, they were Nubian, there were a back and forth war between the lighter and darker people sometimes the Nubian would become the pharaohs, that is why they dress the way they do. It was from the time they were in power, then it would reverse. I have no idea why these two groups did this but they did. They intermarried at some point I think to stop the fighting. This kind of thing happen in many countries not just in Egypt. Everyone got of the same boat!
Your a Damn fool. color racism wasn't invented until the 17th century by Europeans for capitalism in order to justify the slave trade. If they didn't Trick the White peasants by telling them Blacks were inferior they would never have participated.
"Egypt was ruled by black pharaohs for nearly 100 years, but their role as leaders of the ancient civilization has been largely kept in the dark because of racism, according to this month's National Geographic magazine."
I've heard of Nubians of course, and I am aware of the DNA test on Tut which shows he had European lineage. According to the article Tut's grandmother may have been Nubian.
