Original Message I'm really not sure. On the one hand I think to my self that he was going to lose the vote and not get congressional backing to strike so h is trying to make it look good because he is a weak President.

But on the other hand I remember that He DID shut down the Iraq war and signed the deal to leave Afghanistan and he also didn't NEED Congress to strike Syria in the first place.

But on the other hand HAD Obama struck Syria without Congress the Republicans would have used that strike to call Obama a despot who is dragging America into war and they would have tried to tie in Benghazi to us as political fodder for the upcoming elections.

But on the other had Obama HAS to know that once America strikes Syria that Israel will send in their dirty tricks team to escalate the situation to FORCE America to strike Syria again and again until America was all in.
