Find someone in need and help them. It never fails. The more focus that is placed on one's anxiety, the more anxious one becomes. Watch a funny movie. Do anything where you're not left to ponder your state of mind. Learn to let go and allow the process. Resistance really is futile. lol
I can't even pin down where mine is coming from :( Sometimes when I'm trying to fall asleep I'll just get a huge anxiety attack and want to hurl. Then I'll breath deeply and be fine again. But I think you're right. I just watched a bunch of videos last night as I lay in bed and kind of cried some stuff out of me and I gradually forgot about what I was worried about and nodded off. I had been doing great there.
I went through the anxiety attacks in 2000. For three whole months, nonstop. Didn't matter where I was. Try not to fight them. It only makes it worse. I found that embracing them is the best thing.
Can't imagine what it must be like. Glad I missed out on something.....lol, been through plenty of other misery!
It's all the same really.
I would say you are right. I know after what I went through, and the isolation it causes, I am much more sympathetic to people that are hurting. It was a very lonely time for me. But, thank the Lord, He rescued me!
Original Message
I was extremely tired last night and actually laid down at 7 pm. I couldn't keep my eyes open but never actually fell asleep until after 11:30 and then about 4 am I woke up feeling nervous and antsy. I can't explain it at all, I have no different type of stress today than usual. I feel like I am coming out of my skin. Help! Is anyone else feeling something similar?
