Original Message With comparitive mythology, Nibiru and Marduk are the same figures.

It says in the Enuma Elish:
"Nibiru is [Marduk's] star, which he made appear in the heavens... [130-131] The stars of heaven, let him [Nibiru] set their course; let him shepherd all the gods like sheep."

Marduk is the planet Jupiter. Marduk has been known as Jupiter as far back as in the Hammurabbi period. The Greeks even considered Marduk to be the same as Zeus, the king of their own gods. Roman Jupiter was much the same as Zeus, and shared the same name.
