Hope it isn't there too
yea ASO is venting they showed the smoke coming from the Volcano that was right be hind a mountain side that has slid down on the Road there into the River Gully and Buckled the road.
Zombie...is Aso where the quakes are happening
no not exactly the 7.0 earthquake seems to have caused ASO to start quaking again and venting smoke because right after the 7.0 ASO start venting again
http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=235&sid=39358150&title=the-latest-volcano-erupts-in-japan-unclear-if-due-to-quake That's the first eruption in a month. Smoke is rising about 100 meters (328 feet) in the air, but no damage has been reported. It's not immediately clear if there's a link the seismic activity and the eruption. Aso is 1,592 meters (5,223 feet) high and consists of five peaks. It's about 1 ½ hour drive from Kumamoto Prefecture, the epicenter of the quakes
Thanks for info! I accidentally deleted the OP of this thread during some glitch issues on GLP this morning (10/30/17).
I will be posting some useful links in the next post to make it easier for those posting so you don't have to scroll through a massive OP. :)
I had to delete the first two comments on this thread to do so, but wanted to keep them so I've put them below.

I also would like to mention that I know this thread has MANY pages and that it can be somewhat intimidating to join/chime in on a long standing thread as a new member/AC (I've experienced it when I first joined GLP), but we are a VERY welcoming group to those who newly join us. We are a small family of sorts who are all mostly interested in the same earth-related topics (quakes/solar/volcanoes/weather/etc.) and share info on each of those topics as well as 'off-topic' discussions. We genuinely care for one another here and even when we do not agree with each other, we ALWAYS respect each other.
I truly enjoy when new folks join us here. All that I ask is to show respect. :)
