Original Message Two films in particular really make me wonder...

First Lucas' "THX 1138", this could be a picture of the future after TPTB have been living in their bunkers for a generation or two...

In Spielberg's "AI", only super-advanced robots (or possibly aliens which may need an radiated environment to live) are seen on the surface of the earth in the final scenes. Please note that strangely there's NO (Zero) organic life shown in the final scenes of "AI" (the scenes that take place in the distant future)...could that allude to an irradiated planet? The reason isn't given but this could be the ultimate future of earth.
