[quote:Anonymous Coward 39011376:MV8yNDA5MjU2XzQxMzAxNTEwX0EzQTZEN0Mx] [quote:Anonymous Coward 3993184:MV8yNDA5MjU2XzQxMzAxMzQ2XzMzM0ZGQTAz] Everything came from nothing. If two opposites are joined completely they become nothing. White light looks like it is colorless, but I contains all colors. In a similar way, nothing contains all opposites. To create out of nothing, is to remove an opposite from nothing. That is how the universe was created. So he who has nothing, has everything.
Ok, adding some perspective, that surely helps being that the Philosopher's Stone is also a riddle. A man with water has water, a man without water hasn't water. Does the man without water have water? Is it just an illusion of his mind that he is without water? Or does he really not have water in this context? In this context he does not have water. In the context of God the man IS water as God is the culmination of all things before they even were. So also man is of God and water is God therefore man is water in this context. How does one go about finding the Philosopher's Stone? If one who has "nothing" has everything, where does he find this "stone" among his possessions - or that which he is?
