Original Message Our furnace just broke and we are trying to heat the house with one electric space heater and an electric stove.
The stove is working great but I am worried about keeping it on all night because it's close to a wall and I'm worried about a fire while we're sleeping.
I wondered what I could heat on the stove that would continue to radiate heat throughout the night once the stove is shut off.

Any ideas?
