Original Message Lots of sci-fi coming up this year (which happens to be my personal fave), lots of sequels (mostly in the marvel comics realm), but make sure you look with your awakened eyes to see the messages being spoon fed to us with each of these productions.

The first film that captures my attention is titled "Her." This man's vocation is to write personal letters (because obviously there is a need for people to write from the heart - a lost skill?) This film has multi-leveled illuminati philosophies and mindsets revealing major "big brother" scenarios where the world is well established in orwellian/total control, where the machines can even see our thoughts, but the main one in this film is the intense love of a human and a machine (romantic and more).

Storyline
Set in the Los Angeles of the slight future, Her follows Theodore Twombly, a complex, soulful man who makes his living writing touching, personal letters for other people. Heartbroken after the end of a long relationship, he becomes intrigued with a new, advanced operating system, which promises to be an intuitive entity in its own right, individual to each user. Upon initiating it, he is delighted to meet “Samantha,” a bright, female voice, who is insightful, sensitive and surprisingly funny. As her needs and desires grow, in tandem with his own, their friendship deepens into an eventual love for each other.

Maleficent, well.... this doesn't even need a build up. We all know what this is about...i dont need to spell it out for ya, do I?

Storyline
Untold story of Disney's most beloved villain, Maleficent, from the 1959 classic Sleeping Beauty.
“Maleficent” is the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the 1959 classic “Sleeping Beauty.” A beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. Maleficent rises to be the land’s fiercest protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal—an act that begins to turn her pure heart to stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces an epic battle with the invading king’s successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom—and perhaps to Maleficent’s true happiness as well.

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit. In a word? ministry of propaganda. But be sure to look between the lines and behind the curtains to see what's really going on.

Storyline
This original story follow a young Jack (Chris Pine) as he uncovers a financial terrorist plot. The story follows him from 9/11, through his tour of duty in Afghanistan, which scarred him forever, and into his early days in the Financial Intelligence Unit of the modern CIA where he becomes an analyst, under the guardianship of his handler, Harper (Kevin Costner). When Ryan believes he’s uncovered a Russian plot to collapse the United States economy, he goes from being an analyst to becoming a spy and must fight to save his own life and those of countless others, while also trying to protect the thing that's more important to him than anything, his relationship with his fiancée Cathy (Keira Knightley).

Transcendence This one looks fun! More meshing of man and machine/computer. Oh yeah... they are really pile driving this one into the nog. and Johnny Depp, too! Look for yourself:

Storyline
Dr. Will Caster (Johnny Depp) is the foremost researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence, working to create a sentient machine that combines the collective intelligence of everything ever known with the full range of human emotions. His highly controversial experiments have made him famous, but they have also made him the prime target of anti-technology extremists who will do whatever it takes to stop him.

However, in their attempt to destroy Will, they inadvertently become the catalyst for him to succeed—to be a participant in his own transcendence. For his wife Evelyn (Rebecca Hall) and best friend Max Waters (Paul Bettany), both fellow researchers, the question is not if they can…but if they should.

Their worst fears are realized as Will’s thirst for knowledge evolves into a seemingly omnipresent quest for power, to what end is unknown. The only thing that is becoming terrifyingly clear is there may be no way to stop him.

Next on the bill is a film called "Jupiter Ascending"
The title alone is frought with luciferian meaning. This is a "Watch"-owski siblings film. For those in the know, this movie has so many luciferian concepts its almost contrived and nauseating(script is weak but who needs a solid, intelligently written story-line anyway? /sarcasm) but, you will quickly see where they are going with this one.

Storyline
Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning toilets and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along - her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.

The fun continues with a film titled "Interstellar"
All about finding the wormhole and traveling to another dimension. Lots of factual (? more like real/theoretical) science in this one. I plan on seeing this one along with "Her".

Storyline
The film will depict a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding.
A sci-fi film that delves into Caltech physicist Kip Thorne's theories of gravity fields. A space travel story about a group of explorers who travel through a worm hole and into another dimension. Based on real science, the film will explore the mind-bending territory of black holes and gravity waves and touch on some of the hypotheses that Albert Einstein chased but never could prove.

Of course, the franchises continue. the sequels march forward with The Avengers, The Amazing Spiderman-2, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, 22 Jump Street (you just might actually lose IQ points watching this complete waste of materials), among a few others not worth mentioning.
