First of all, to debunk African-American entirely, they used Afro-American originally. I'm not trying to be racist here, this is the history of terms used and WHY his birth certificate would not have read AFRICAN for father.

It doesn't say African American on his birth certificate. It says African for father and Caucasian for mother. Accuser is completely right though. African American was not used until the 80s. For father it would say NEGRO or BLACK. Period, there was no other "race" used for blacks at that time. It asks Race of Father  African. African is NOT a race, it's a place. It was never and would not even mistakenly be used as a race. What they need to prove is that Obama was the only kid born with a father listed as African. I guarantee any others say Negro or Black at that time in Hawaii.

Jesse Jackson announces in 1988 that blacks prefer to be called African American and says they were black or negro through the late 1960s.

I'm listing this because the Census and Birth registration are both Federal. They would use the same terminology with no special notes for someone from Africa or any other black from another country.

The 1950 Census questionnaire removed the word “color” from the racial question.

1960
The 1960 Census re-added the word “color” to the racial question, and changed “Indian” to “American Indian”, as well as added Hawaiian, Part-Hawaiian, Aleut, and Eskimo. The Other (print out race) option was removed.

Absolutely impossible his real father served in WWII since he was born in 1936 and the WWII was all over with by 1945. Even post-war was over by 1948, his father would have been 12.

In the context Obama says this, he definitely means "home" as America. His father was not even an American...ever.

Anyone who had anything to do with "legalizing" him have met with untimely deaths. I say that if they haven't been able to solidly prove it by now, they never will. I did a thread on this myself involving his Social Security number being registered to person named Bounel born in 1890 and said SS# was issued in Connecticut (Obama never lived in CT). They can't get that through the courts so far either. Of interest though is that no one can prove that number was NOT issued in CT to a man named Bounel born in 1890 [i]in Russia[/i].

The literary agency, Dystel & Goderich was going to publish Obama's first book Journeys in Black and White (it was never published). The biography they used for Obama from 1991 to 2007 says:
