When it comes to making people feel welcome we give them great music, a well-stocked bar, and excellent food — and you do it abundantly.” http://www.theblaze.com/blog/2014/01/06/curious-thing-missing-from-michelle-obamas-birthday-party/ (And if you click on the above, you can even see MO in workout gear and a weight! Yay!)
I would have written the invitation this way; Hey dogs & bitches, Come to my par-tay ready to bust a move & groove but snarf a bucket at home first. e Else ya can hit McD's on yer way... ya get me? NO fighting.. I mean it. Crap games inna back. BYOB Thunderbird is inna punchbow. Until 4am or the cops close us down. But, that's just me.
Invitations for the First Lady’s January 18 party tell guests to ‘eat before you come’ and ‘practice your dance moves.’
The party’s fitting title is ‘Snacks & Sips & Dancing & Dessert,’ sources told the Chicago Tribune.
The dancing party will be light on food, but heavy on dancing, perhaps in a nod to Ms Obama’s ongoing physical fitness campaigning.
The entertainment and guest list are a closely-guarded secret, the Tribune noted.
