A November ballot measure will let voters decide if they want California split into 6 states. States to be called:

1. Jefferson (Far North California) Capital: Crescent City
2. North California (Napa/Sacramento) Capital: Sacramento
3. Silicon Valley (Bay Area/Big Sur) Capital: San Jose
4. Central California (Central Valley/Sierras)Capital: Fresno
5. West California (LA Basin/S. Barbara)Capital: Santa Barbara
7. South California (Inland Empire/San Diego)Capital:San Diego
