Problem is the Black Box isn't broadcasting. Either it failed (highly unlikely) or the plane never blew up.

Two key points to note, no black box signal and no debris. AND no radar signature of a missile. As far as we're told anyways.

Mean depth in that part of the ocean is nearly 4,000 ft. The black box may be pinging, but as of yet undetected. It's down there. BTW, a stealth aircraft fitted with a 30mm cannon would leave no radar signature and could easily shoot down a triple 7. Perhaps that was the reason for the sudden drop and turn before the plane disappeared?  Perhaps the pilot was taking evasive action.
