Original Message Excellent interview with John Williams, the founder of Shadowstats who for 30 years has reported the REAL unemployment rate, the REAL GDP, the REAL inflation rates. What people don't realize is that as these numbers over the years became unpleasant, the government simply manipulated the data and changed the calculations to create an end result more appealing to the masses.

All major economic numbers reported by the government are massaged. For example, we ALL know that unemployment is not 6.7%. The true number is 23.5%.

By using the original methods to compile the numbers, Williams gives us a much more accurate---and honest---look at how dire our situation in America really is.

Here he talks about how close to the cliff we are and what happens to America if Russia really does start dumping dollars and treasury bonds as they have threatened to do if we impose sanctions.
