This is my first post. However, I say this post that just came into dailymail.co.uk. The commenter stated the following:

They're all looking in the wrong place. Open Google Earth and enter these numbers and you will find where the plane is and why there is a blackout, no one at that location is authorized to speak to anybody ! The passengers are safe on the island, upset but being kept quiet. 7 degrees 18'02.65" South 72 degrees 23'58.92" East It's in that hangar.
