[quote:Anonymous Coward 45655117:MV8yNTA5MDE0XzQzMzM5NjAzX0Q1OTVBQ0JE] It sure seems like we've got a good old fashioned game of somebody's lying going on. That debris field look suspicious, like it could be from a plane crash. So let's assume that it is debris from the plane and that it crashed near there. Then that means all of the reported data from the plane and satellites showing it flew West for an additional 7 hours or so is all a lie. Who gains from that lie? Is it a setup for the next al-ciada attack? Make the public believe there is some rogue plane out there somewhere that might be used for an attack. Maybe... - OR - What if it isn't really debris from the plane but rather it is debris planted there to make it look like it's from the plane (like in Lost)? That's not completely implausible. If I recall correctly, the plane wasn't reported as missing for several hours after the transponder was turned off. What if this is a larger conspiracy? Give the plane time to make a full getaway, then report it missing. Drop some fake debris in the area of the ocean near where it was right before the transponders were turned off. Discover the floating "wreckage" and declare the plane crashed. Hell, it took 2 years to find the Air France black boxes, no one would be suspicious if the black boxes (which won't exist) at the fake crash site aren't discovered for months or years, or ever. Meanwhile, the real plane lands somewhere in the Middle East or Western China in preparation for some future event, and no one sees it coming because everyone believes the plane crashed. The Malaysian's were initially giving contradictory / wrong information before evidence from US satellites / engine data started to be reported that contradicted their data, evidence that I'm sure they didn't know existed. If this is a fake crash site, you better believe that whoever placed the wreckage there was scrambling to get out there to pick it up before it was discovered by outsiders (those actually doing legit search work for the plane). These images purported to show the possible wreckage.
NOW, three ships are focusing on the area of these images...
One is a dredger, the other a dive boat and the 3rd was an inbound freighter than has now stopped but has been zigzaging in the same area...
This cargo ship and the dive boat are separated by less than a mile....
Take it for what it's worth but I don't think all this activity would be taking place if they had not found something....

UPDATE: The Dive boat has now disappeared from the marine traffic tracking website......are they trying to hide the location until confirmation is certain?
