On the contrary, they are not hiding but revealing information. The problem here is that since some people missed the boat and bought into this story, the MSM has taken control of their thoughts and have only been releasing as much info as they want to herd the world towards their end goal of a massive FF on the backs of this. When this happens, the story of the Iranians on board this hijacked airline will make sense to them. Also the idea of the pilot having extremist ideology especially with his picture with a meat cleaver in his hand. Everything is heading that way and there will be some survivors who will tell the story of this hijack and solve some of the mystery.

Original Message d=r*t remember that 7th grade formula? Distance, rate, time. The talking heads say the plane now flew <Faster> making it closer to the last known point. How, the time is constant, 7 hours of flight. so flying faster makes the distance longer, not shorter. The amount of fuel, or rate of burn, nor altitude makes any difference as long as the time is still 7 hours or flight time.
This new search area would only make sense if the plane flew <Slower>, not faster.
