That's what I was wondering, too. [quote:Anonymous Coward 23852931:MV8yNTY2NDIwXzQ0NjMzNTA0X0ZGRERBQjk5] Amazingly, Walmart drivers are some of the best paid in the trucking industry. It wouldn't surprise me if they aren't under pressure to cook the books and drive longer than they are allowed to by law.
Amazingly, Wal-Mart spares no expense when it comes to keeping their logistical backbone operating at top efficiency. They have all the bells and whistles. They also have a big ass to protect, and they're fully aware that there are countless envious people who'd love to lay claim to a slice of that ass. "The books", which the drivers couldn't cook if they wanted to, are maintained electronically and remotely. When a driver's approaching the end of his or her allowable time, they're notified of that fact. When the driver says "but I'll be home in 20 minutes", they're told that the truck will be shut down in eight minutes and they'd best be pulling the rig over before the eight minutes have passed.
Or it could also the guy fell asleep at the wheel....... Or it could be what you are saying..... Either way, we are merely speculating--------but we are allowed to in this site.
The link says they are willing to "take responsibility" IF it is found their TRUCK caused the accident-----
Since Walmart is known for hiring contracted workers for truck driving------I doubt they will fully take responsibility.
Some reports say the truck driver fell asleep at the wheel. Truck drivers are required by Federal Law to not drive straight more than 11 hrs.
Wanna bet WallyWorld told the driver to drive more than 11 hours to get there on schedule?
That's what Wally World does often.
Of course they will never admit it--------

If there is till an investigation going on, why has the driver been already charged?
I know he rear-ended the limo----but cannot help feeling there is something shady going on here.
Walmart will not pay shit. They are masters at this.
