I don't buy it was an accident. IMO it was a failed attempt of sacrificing him, announce his death on Friday 13, create a worldwide commotion and use the energy to make a timeline shift.

According to Mediamass there was a FB "RIP Harrison Ford" earlier this week. I didn't find anything but they say it was online:

Hundreds of fans immediately started writing their messages of condolence on the Facebook page, expressing their sadness that the talented 71-year-old actor was dead. And as usual, Twittersphere was frenzied over the death hoax.
