[quote:Anonymous Coward 4500411:MV8yNTc1OTg3XzQ0ODUyODU1XzRFOUFDMDA3] I'm having a time with it too. I mean the main thing seems to always be Sunni vs Shiite or what ever they want to be called. From what I can tell the Muslim stuff is akin to every branch of Christianity being at war with each other but still being on one of two sides. [/quote]

During his live speech regarding Iraq, the president
AGAIN
referred to the United States as the 'Homeland'. For some reason, every time I hear a politician say that it gives me the creeps, like a flash of foreign armies marching across the plains of Nebraska
I did some looking around, and I guess I'm not the only one. First time I heard it was from Bush, and it's been cropping up a lot more lately.
Does anyone else get a prickling in the back of the neck when you hear it? I'm an American living in the
United States
, not the 'Homeland'!
I know I'm not the only one. I found this link from back in '02.
