Israel sustains heavy losses as it advanced in the eastern sector - sources
SIDON, South Lebanon, July 30 (KUNA) -- Israel has sustained heavy losses as it launched a new ground assault in the eastern sector of South Lebanon on Sunday, Lebanese security sources said.
Israeli troops advanced in the eastern sector today in an endeavor to separate the Marjaayoun and Kafarshuba from the Bint Jbail town, the sources said, noting that Hezbollah fighters showed stiff resistance against the advancing Israeli troops.
Israel is expected to commit a series of brutal military operations, likewise the Qana massacre of today to cover up for its failure in achieving its declared objectives, foremost the destruction of Hezbollah forces.
An Israeli aircraft fired a missile on a three-storey building in the town of Qana earlier today, killing more than 55 civilians mostly children. (end) ams.sm.

Israel warplanes launch attacks on several Lebanese targets
BEIRUT, July 30 (KUNA) -- Israeli warplanes bombarded several Lebanese targets near Baalbek city, said a Lebanese security source Sunday.
The source told KUNA that the warplanes bombarded the hilltops of the Al-Yamouna town near Baalbek.
Mock air raids over Baalbek and northern Bekaa Valley was also conducted by the Israeli air force, added the security source.
A Lebanese Military base in Al-Zaina Valley was bombarded without any casualties reported, said the source who added that an Israeli reconnaissance plane flew over several towns in western Bekaa valley.
In another development, two Israeli military vehicles were destroyed by Hezbollah fighters.
A statement by Hezbollah said the vehicles were destroyed at Kfarkila village in southern Lebanon. The statement added that several rockets will be launched on northern Jewish settlements in retaliation to the Israeli massacres in Qana village. (pickup pervious) oh.

Since Syria has promised its full support to the valiant Hezbollah, I would think it would include some advance missiles. Just a guess.
