I posted here recently that my father is a professional poker player and someone replied "Maybe your dad should get a real job...". I don't know where this person is coming from. People all over the world worship people who play games for a living (professional athletes).
Don't try to tell me that using gambling to make a living necessarily has a bad stigma either! Who can argue with the idea that trading stocks is nothing more than gambling! Yet, successful stock brokers and traders are held right up there in the same category as doctors and lawyers, frequently.
Please explain this to me.
