[quote:ShadowDancer:MV8yODQ5OV8xMzAyMzQ1OV8zMEEyMDlCRQ==] actual hieroglyphics http://fhs.mcmaster.ca/nursing/images/Hieroglyphics.jpg Now I will say on this relief we have wavy lines---so lets say they are frequency, than one would expect it to either be a CONSTANT or a varying...now if it is varying then the peaks and valleys would not be constant-but it seems that most are-this cannot translate to frequency directly from position...so did the ones using it know the finesse points and others did not or it was not conveyed... Points to ponder...I would expect if it were exact it would not be similar as often...but different frequencies showed by a variance in the peaks and valleys of the 'waveform', most of the wavy lines seem fairly consistent-but they are not exact... So how is one to use the frequencies you refer to or to access them...to know they are the correct ones??? One would need to meditate imho :hf: a relief with a bar being held, and 'frequency' line(usually identified as water) http://www.kottke.org/plus/photos/200105europe/egypt_paint.jpg "Hieroglyphics are an original form of writing out of which all other forms have evolved. Two of the newer forms were called hieratic and demotic. Hieratic was a simplified form of hieroglyphics used for administrative and business purposes, as well as for literary, scientific and religious texts. Demotic, a Greek word meaning "popular script", was in general use for the daily requirements of the society. In the third century A.D., hieroglyphic writing began to be replaced by Coptic, a form of Greek writing. The last hieroglyphic text was written at the Temple of Philae in A.D. 450. The spoken Egyptian language was superseded by Arabic in the Middle Ages." Hieroglyphs are written in columns or in horizontal lines. They are generally read from right to left and from top to bottom. Sometimes, the script is read from left to right. The reader can determine the orientation by looking at the animal and human figures -- they face towards the beginning of the text. For example: if a figure faces right, the text should be read from right to left. Words and names written in hieroglyphs were believed to have magical powers. For this reason, funeral texts and the names of the deceased were written on coffins and tomb walls. This meant that the gods would hear the prayers and the individuals would be protected from harm. A name written in hieroglyphs embodied a person's identity. If it was obliterated, the person's identity was lost, along with his or her means to continue living in the afterworld. The names of pharaohs such as Tutankhamun and Queen Hatshepsut, for example, were removed from temple walls by their successors The meaning of hieroglyph literally means "sacred carvings" and were originally carved in temple walls, tombs, and on papyrus. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/82/239198852_8e37c5a50c.jpg relief http://www.flickr.com/photos/8254104@N08/2316982616/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/orianaitaly/2498956955/ karnak guardian http://www.flickr.com/photos/deydodoe/523465020/ :hf: I am trying to pull up my helicopter and 'lightbulb' pic http://www.flickr.com/photos/deydodoe/523896588/in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/deydodoe/523924837/in/photostream/ this is a great picture http://www.flickr.com/photos/deydodoe/527776290/in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/deydodoe/878722972/in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/deydodoe/532110754/in/photostream/ some great hieroglyphs here-Edfu http://www.flickr.com/photos/deydodoe/532110624/in/photostream/ Lots of wavy lines on this obelisk http://www.flickr.com/photos/deydodoe/877875479/in/photostream/ hapshepsut reliefs http://www.flickr.com/photos/deydodoe/1005494552/in/set-72157600327096615/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/deydodoe/1005495124/in/set-72157600327096615/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikepi/3182620780/in/pool-316362@N24 temple at Philae http://www.flickr.com/photos/midoeldaly/3719062191/in/pool-443927@N22 http://www.flickr.com/photos/midoeldaly/3723173558/in/pool-443927@N22 http://www.flickr.com/photos/midoeldaly/3710279122/in/pool-443927@N22 here is the helicopter at abydos(predynastic) http://www.flickr.com/photos/30435614@N02/3365777914/in/pool-443927@N22 Luxor http://www.flickr.com/photos/30435614@N02/3716383363/in/set-72157617056229493/ Kum Ambo temple http://www.flickr.com/photos/midoeldaly/3661435761/in/pool-443927@N22 http://www.flickr.com/photos/midoeldaly/3662234424/in/pool-443927@N22 http://www.flickr.com/photos/midoeldaly/3662242690/in/pool-443927@N22 Pharoahs calender http://www.flickr.com/photos/rafaelgomez/386385251/in/pool-443927@N22 [/quote]

The human body is a fine instrument but is frequently out of tune. In medicine, harmonics has been used for thousands of years. Eastern medicine has a more complete understanding of the importance of sound in healing work.
