None of this is based off of factual data I could find right now (Sea surface temperature changes, etc), just a gradual observation made through the years. Not as analytic as a typical approach to the matter.
Yes. Al Gore and the crew, the high-powered and renowned researchers, might be exploiting genuine climatologists' effort to unravel the truth behind abnormal shift in temperature, wind, climate patterns... And, yes, conservative-leaning meteorologists like Bastardi have some very valid points under their sleeves regarding the likely manipulation of data records going way back and lies perpetrated by the man himself, Al Gore.
But with a rather inconstinent flunctuation in tropical activity for example, like last year's abnormally low 8 tropical cyclones in the Atlantic that was preceded by four consecutive years of above-average activity, recent hyperactive seasons like 2005 and 2008... One has to question other occurrences along the likes of methane gas development and fracking... And if our focus on the rather plain issue of climate change all along should have been diverted to a manmade and federal-sponsored, multi-layered underground manipulation of our most beloved natural resources.
