According to a poll, only 13% of Americans trust the government 'most of the time'.
If almost no one trusts the government, what is the likely reaction to enforced gun grabbing? Violent resistance? Secession (see recent polls in Texas)? Turning millions of citizens into felons who won't comply? How about civil war?
Gun violence is part of a much bigger problem. If people could trust the government. many of them would just sell their guns and live in peace. I am tired of hearing calls for gun control that don't deal with the real issue: a corrupt, violent government nobody trusts.
