[quote:the chef 158667:MV8zMjEzNDNfNTQ0NTI1NF80RjYwMzdBQw==] Cook the turkey upside down in a cooking bag with 1 cup of water and one tablespoon of liquid smoke. Do not stuff the turkey put an apple skinned in the turkey. Cut the legs and wings away from the breast but not off. Hands down the best way to cook a turkey...You can also add basil, tyme and sage with the apple but needs to be fresh not from a bottle. the chef [/quote]
Original Message
i am a guy who has to cook a turkey for Christmas eve dinner for four.
i cannot find any info on cutting up a turkey before cooking, the way you can with a different bird, the chicken.
cutting a chicken in half reduces cooking time.
can i do that with a turkey?
