' is an absurdly frivolous Catholic rendition of
theotokos
, 'God bearer', 'God birther', declared at Ephesus.
So which on is it, '
Mother of God
' or
God birther
'? Neither? Can it be neither without confessing to Nestorianism? Can it be neither without discarding 16 centuries of Christian tradition, doctrine and Christology? Can you discard Ephesus and still keep Chalcedon?
