Since I bought my radio shack TRS "computer" in the early 80's then my Apple systems, then my IBM desktop PC's...I always hated being tied to a desk. I bought early laptops but they all kind of sucked and did not have neat features such as PCI expansion slots or large hard drives. Laptops even witin the past few years kind of sucked.
Now I am in heaven I just bought an Alienware laptop (dual core cpu/ with two 200 gig internal hard drives, a portable magma PCI chassis, and three attached (via usb 2.0) 400 gig hard drives. It has a blue ray DVD burner on it (50 gigabyte dvd's baby!).
When I shopped around for this killer lap most of the companies had really powerfull stuff out now, some beyond desktop performance levels.
All the freakin power will ever need that fits in a backpack.
I can now tell all my desktop systems to go to HELL! I hate you, always have!...go to ebay and rot you giant mess!
Free yourself people desktop rule is now over!!!!!WE BE FREE.
I am posting this on my desktop system
