In my quest to find the roots of Rock n Roll I came across Sister Rosetta Tharpe, a gospel singer & guitar player. I've looked into Robert Johnson and other great blues players, but this woman shreds the guitar ( Elvis, Jerry Lee and others were big fans of hers) Be sure to watch at 1:30 into the vid to see her tear that axe up!
