So with the explosion of veganism in the last 10 years I was wondering why? I believe anything that goes mainstream
must have some kind of agenda behind it. I read 1 timothy
which says
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
Timothy, chapter 4, verses 1 through 3
So it hit me is this modern day veganism? I don't think theres any thing wrong with being vegetarian, But this vegan movment has a huge new age movment behind it.
It feels like a religion, and ties in a lot of spiritual practices to it, If you look at the history of it. It first begins in India,
The other thing is the become so obsessed with there diet it takes over there entire lives. they have to plan every moment of there day around this diet. Also there could come a time where society it self falls apart and if your a vegan you will not survive, due to the fact that we will have to eat what ever you find
