Original Message Tube journeys are at best boring, at worst stressful and annoying. But a Norwegian man decided to turn the longest escalator in Europe at London’s Angel tube station, into a make-shift ski-slope with dramatic results.

The film shows a skier going up the escalator, putting on a pair of skis and then rushing at increasing speed down the moving escalators.

A tube official can be heard shouting 'Oi' just as begins to descend the empty escalator.

The Norwegian skier has been condemned by a London Underground spokes person.
