Over the past two weeks, large numbers of birds have been dying in California. NBC4, the local L.A. NBC station, posted a story about the birds on one beach, but they removed the article after only 10 hours. Here is the cached version:

I counted over 30 birds on one Ventura beach today and 20 on another. These beaches are different than the one mentioned in the article above. That means at least 3 beaches have large numbers of dead birds.
If anyone else has noticed dead birds in California, please post it here.
